This existing home required new ideas to improve the layout, make better use of the existing space and to upgrade the energy performance of the dwelling. The solution lay with the conversion of an existing garage to provide additional living space, along with a new extension connecting it to the existing house. The resulting open plan living and kitchen area, with vaulted roof, benefits from natural light from all angles, along with views out onto a new raised patio area.
