This home design utilises contemporary external materials, including reclaimed brick and a standing seam wine coloured zinc roof, to produce a stunning modern aesthetic. The design concept is based around a central courtyard that is hidden from view from the front/road facing elevation, but opens up to the rear garden. Three accommodation blocks are positioned around the courtyard; Kitchen/Dining, Living and Bedrooms and all benefit from the natural light brought in from and view out onto the courtyard. The front elevation of the property is deliberately understated with fewer window openings, however the rear elevation is much more dynamic, with larger openings and a sense of depth and perspective, created by the landscaped courtyard, all adding to the visual interest.
