Julianstown House

A replacement family home, situated on a beautiful site outside Julianstown, Co. Meath. The main challenge for this project was to deliver the brief of a 3 bedroom family home for a tight budget. In response to this, the plan was compact and devoid of any under utilised or gratuitous space. The design focused on maximising the views out onto the existing garden and bringing as much natural light as possible into the main living spaces within the dwelling as well as the circulation spaces.

The property is broken up into a number of elements that helps to break up the massing, which means it integrates well into its rural setting. The south west facing terrace is a key feature of the design, which will be sheltered from the road and provide a lovely connection to the existing garden.
